Okay, the site is no longer ugly. It's just boring. Progress is progress people. Try to be more like me and focus on the positive.

graduation pics

Okay, so I'm not the fastest about uploading these pics. But I'm hoping it's a better late than never sort of situation. These pics are mostly ones that I took on graduation day.

Facts about the day...
over 7,500 students graduated
Bill Clinton was the main speaker
90 degrees
4 hours of sitting directly in the sun

This pic was from inside the field house were the graduates gathered before the procession. A tent was erected outside the field house for additional students since we could not all fit indoors.

We walked out of the field house and crossed the street to the stadium. They had to close a street down for the procession.

We're walking...

we're walking.

There were 10 processional lines. We were told to be very careful and follow the right person, but... um... as you can see it's a little tough when we're all dressed alike.

We entered onto the field from the same tunnel the football players use.

A view from the field...

My view from the stands...

Can you see Clinton on the stage? ... me neither. Luckily, they blew up his face on the score board.

There are more pics on other people's cameras. These are all from my perspective. I hope you enjoyed.

I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES JACK A VERY DULL BOY. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done.

fini

I am done. So done. Quite done. Yeah! I'm done.

I will graduate from college Sunday. It's weird - everyone asks me how I "feel." Truthfully, I don' know how to feel about being done. There is a sense of relief and an odd absence of guilt. But other than that, it just feels like I have too much free time. I watched tv for like 5 hours straight yesterday. It was sad really.

My mind has really begun to worry about not having a job yet. I've put out a pathetic amount of resumes, but I have yet to do the big push. I'm having my resume reviewed today by career services. So hopefully tonight I can put out more resumes. I guess I feel like I'm in limbo. Waiting. In the mean time, I'm working my part-time job this week. Putting in like 36 hours this week. It feels like a lot, but I know it's not really.

Things to do:
• iron out graduation robe since it looks like it's safe to take it out of the bag now
• clean the house for graduation guests
• do laundry
• start working out again
• find a full-time job to support me and my husband - hopefully in a better lifestlye than I've become accustomed
