Crap. If you believe the national news, it's the end of the world out there people - look alive. Tornadoes and floods - it's raining everything but oil out there guys. And while skies filled with free oil may seem like a blessing at first glance, in big picture terms it's a lot of cleanup. I am trying not to let the end of the world get me down, but it's a tough struggle.
On smaller scale my life is in upheaval. (As if you couldn't tell from all the doom and gloom above.) One of our cars was recently hit and totaled. BUT this is good news! Because while we are down a car, we actually managed to make money on this deal which is the good news. But the bad news *shakes head solemnly* is that all the profit will go into the new condo purchase... WHICH is still in the air due to a busted water pipe which everyone assures is 1) common and 2) simple to fix. *sighs* BUT the condo deal is still in the works. There is still plenty to go wrong and plenty of time for implode. Of course with the gas line yet to be checked, I shouldn't go around tempting fate by making implode/explode jokes. Not wise to tick of the fates... *mumbles "skanks" under her breath in an attempt to make Bill chuckle*
So to sum up:
• Car totaled - boo
• Got insurance check - yeah
• Condo bid accepted - yeah
• Inspection incomplete due to busted pipe - boo
• Must hold in limbo while I wait to find out how busted pipe is is fixed - boo
• tornadoes - boo
• floods - boo
• gas prices - boo
• end of the world - yeah!?
Okay, the site is no longer ugly. It's just boring. Progress is progress people. Try to be more like me and focus on the positive.
